HOME MATCHES

 

Travel/Ticket Info
 
We operate 3 mini buses to every home league game with 2 leaving 2 hrs before kick-off and one leaving 2 hrs and 20 mins before kick-off. Places are now available to book for the whole season or on a match to match basis.

Home return travel prices are as follows:-
Adult member £6
Junior member Free - 6 years and under
Junior member £3.50 - 7 - 16 years

Adult non member £6.50

Junior non member £4

 

If you are booked on the bus for all the home league games and do not turn up on the day, you are liable for full payment unless you have given Gaz 7 days or more notice. The buses depart two hours before kick-off from opposite The Bird in Hand and all bus money is collected in The Bird before departure.

Anyone requiring tickets for home games should contact Gaz for availability.

Travel places on the bus for home cup ties are allocated on a first come first served basis.

AWAY MATCHES

 

Travel/Ticket Info 
 
The branch has the facility to apply for tickets to away games and we usually get these as a block booking so everyone can sit together. The money for away games is usually taken between 4 and 5 weeks before the fixture. As soon as the relevant ticket information is received it will be put straight on to the website. Alternatively a poster will be put up in The Bird In Hand if you are able to call in. Information is usually available between 5 and 6 weeks before the kick off.
 
When Gaz takes the money for away fixtures, we ask for the cost of the ticket plus a bus deposit, usually £5 depending on the ticket price. For example, if a ticket cost £31, we would take a £4 bus deposit. If the ticket cost £34 the bus deposit would be £6. The deposit is non re-fundable and any tickets purchased through the branch must come back to us as we have a responsibility to our members and the club itself to ensure we know where and who every ticket is going to. Match tickets are distributed on the day of the game.
 
Children under the age of 16 will travel for half of the adult fare. We can apply for a small number of junior tickets but these will not always be available, depending on demand.
The branch works on a first come first served basis and we ask that you ALWAYS contact Gaz before leaving any money. The first 16 names are always guaranteed places and if we exceed that number we can book another or bigger bus depending on numbers. 


If you are a branch member and season card holder and wish to travel to an away game, you can submit your season card details to Gaz to use when applying for tickets. Basically this means when you apply for a ticket you will still be awarded loyalty points.
